Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking an experienced Financial Services Officer to join their Credit Union client's team in San Diego. This role focuses on providing comprehensive financial services to both consumer and business members, including deposits, loans, wealth management, and insurance solutions. The ideal candidate will engage in outside sales and business development to enhance the branches growth objectives while adhering to regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outside sales and business development targeting small business prospects. Participate in community events to leverage credit union identity and achieve business growth objectives.
  • Act as the primary contact for new and existing consumer and business members seeking deposit, loan, wealth management, and insurance/protection product solutions offered by the credit union.
  • Conduct thorough financial assessments and loan interviews and recommend best product solutions for members. Process loan applications within credit union policies and procedures, ensuring loans are supported with required documentation and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Open new accounts and memberships within credit union policies and procedures, ensuring the accounts are within applicable regulatory compliance guidelines.
  • Perform notary services, as needed.
  • Serve as the Manager on Duty in the absence of the Branch Manager.
  • Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. Adhere to all security procedures and regulatory guidelines for Regulation CC, the Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, and USA Patriot Act/Customer Identification Act (CIP). Maintain confidentiality of current, past, and potential members and their personal and financial information.
  • Perform other assignments that may require the employee's expertise and/or knowledge to facilitate the completion of a task or project.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required
  • 3+ years of banking lending experience
  • Symitar and Microsoft Office Proficiency
  • NMLS certification
  • Ability to pass a background and credit check

Required Work Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 8:45-5:15pm
  • Saturday (every other Saturday) 8:30am-2:30pm

Additional Details

Salary Range: $25.10 - $37.65 per hour (plus commission)
